This project was a consequence of Traffix Group’s review of pedestrian movements through the local area during the Gold Precinct Local Area Traffic Management Study.

Our role included a detailed design of the signals, including a traffic signal plan. It also involved consultation with PTV to ensure that the proposed pedestrian-operated traffic signals would not adversely affect tram services, and that the signals location allowed for future upgrades to tram stops along Smith Street.
