University Traffic Engineering Awards

Traffix Group offers industry-based work experience to civil engineering undergraduates through the Traffix Group – Traffic Engineering Awards Program at both RMIT and Monash University. The award comprises a cash award and an opportunity for approximately six (6) weeks paid work experience during the university vacation period.

Two awards are provided annually to students who intend to pursue careers in transport engineering. The awards are offered to a student completing their penultimate year of undergraduate studies.

The Monash University award is provided in memory of Anthony Mirabito, a previous scholarship recipient who tragically died in a road accident in 2004.

These awards are based on applicants’ written submissions and interviews by a committee comprising representatives of the department and Traffix Group.
