Traffix Group partnered with Yarra City Council to evaluate the transport impacts associated with the closure of Cambridge Street at Peel Street to provide public open space (pocket park).
Our role involved undertaking traffic and parking surveys and transport modelling to evaluate the impacts of such a closure on the surrounding road network, as well as consideration for abutting property access arrangements. This assessment was undertaken in conjunction with the Otter Street project, and Yarra City Council has since constructed both pocket parks!
