Traffix Group partnered with Yarra City Council to evaluate the transport impacts associated with the closure of Otter Street at Smith Street to provide public open space (pocket park)
Our role involved undertaking traffic and parking surveys and transport modelling to evaluate the impacts of such a closure on the surrounding road network, as well as develop a solution for school bus access arrangements. This assessment was undertaken in conjunction with the Cambridge Street project, and Yarra City Council has since constructed both pocket parks!
