Warracknabeal Energy Park comprises up to 219 turbines, and once complete, is capable of supplying enough electricity to meet 12.5% of Victoria’s energy needs.

Traffix Group prepared various traffic engineering assessments of the impact of the development. These assessments included the identification and testing of vehicle access routes for trucks and over dimensional vehicles. The culmination of these works was the preparation of a Traffic Impact Assessment that formed part of the Environment Effects Statement for the project.

Lake Victoria Wind Farm

The Lake Victoria Wind Farm comprises up to 200 turbines, and once complete, is capable of supplying enough electricity to power around 700,000 average homes annually.

Traffix Group works involved assessments of potential routes from various ports throughout Australia, and the feasibility and impact of providing vehicle connections between the site and those ports. These works culminated in Traffix Group preparing a detailed swept path assessment of the nominated port to site vehicle access route.

M4 – Todd Road, Port Melbourne

Rosebud Plaza

Charter Hall engaged Traffix Group to provide traffic engineering services to help re-develop Rosebud Plaza.

The project included the re-location of an anchor supermarket tenant as well as the provision of new retail offerings.

These works included the provision of a new vehicle access point to the site from Point Nepean Road, new pedestrian crossings and modifications to the existing carpark layout.

Traffix Group assisted the project team in the preparation of a transport impact assessment to accompany the Development Plan Amendment, the preparation of a Functional Layout Plan, Road Safety Audit and transport design and engineering services.

Burnside Park Hub

Traffix Group has had a close involvement with Rockbank’s newest housing estate, which will contain 1300 lots with a town centre and community facilities.

We assisted with the precinct structure plan and traffic engineering assessments for permit approvals for the subdivision and internal subdivision layouts.

Our work has also involved preparing concepts and detailed designs of interim and final road networks, traffic signals, roundabouts, shared paths, acceleration/deceleration lanes onto Western Freeway, and obtaining successful approvals by Melton Council and VicRoads.

Richmond Traders

Traffix Group assisted in developing plans for the redevelopment of the former Richmond Plaza Shopping Centre to provide for a revitalised inner city shopping centre, with a full line Coles supermarket and supporting shopping centre, child care centre, commercial office and residential apartments above.

Home Residential ultimately developed the site for their new Home Richmond Quarter, which provides over 350 residential apartments, managed within a Built to Rent scheme, with only 50% of apartments with a car space.
