The project involves the internal refurbishment of the 150 Charlotte Street building. Traffix Group was engaged to prepare detailed swept path diagrams for truck access to and from basement car park to determine the largest size vehicle to be able to access the site. This information was used to inform the overall construction methodology.

Overtaking Lanes – Riddoch Highway, Horrocks Highway, and Long Valley Road

The construction of overtaking lanes on Riddoch Highway, Long Valley Road and Horrocks Highway were part of the $155 million South Australian Rural Roads Safety Package and all of these facilities have been successfully constructed.

Traffix Group was engaged to prepare the long-term traffic guidance schemes associated with the delivery of the overtaking lane projects. By preparing the traffic guidance schemes in CAD format, we were able to undertake a space proofing exercise early in the works to confirm the ability for the staging to be completed under the proposed configuration including identifying any additional measures that assisted in making the delivery phase of the project a success.

Tram Grade Separations Project

The Tram Grade Separation Project involves the removal of three level crossings along the Glenelg tram line where it crosses Marion Road and Cross Road in Plympton and Morphett Road in Morphetville.

Traffix Group was engaged to prepare long-term traffic guidance schemes, design reports and undertake risk assessments for the staging of the works.
Preparation of swept path analysis and sight distance checks were undertaken to ensure that the traffic management configurations are appropriate for construction traffic accessing the site while ensuring the road network remains functional during construction activities.
