The Project is for an eight-storey extension of the existing Novotel hotel complex including additional hotel rooms, a bar/restaurant and additional car parking. Traffix Group was engaged to provide traffic engineering services at the town planning stage including design advice, transport engineering assessments and preparation of a Traffic Engineering Report for town planning.
The Canberra Hospital Staff carpark expansion Project Stage 1 provided a net increase of 555 spaces, and Stage 2 provided an additional 423 spaces. Traffix Group undertook a Transport Impact Assessment of the two expansion phases, including data collection, design advice, traffic generation, distribution and impact analysis, queue length analysis and pedestrian accessibility review.
