The Canberra Hospital Staff carpark expansion Project Stage 1 provided a net increase of 555 spaces, and Stage 2 provided an additional 423 spaces. Traffix Group undertook a Transport Impact Assessment of the two expansion phases, including data collection, design advice, traffic generation, distribution and impact analysis, queue length analysis and pedestrian accessibility review.

East Gungahlin High School (Shirley Smith High School) opened to the Year 7 foundation cohort in January 2024 and is designed to cater for up to 1,000 students.
